Dog Training

Training to create lifelong partnerships, The Train Station Dog Training Studio is offering Puppy Pre-School Classes at McAfee Animal Hospital. These classes are an opportunity for you and your puppy, ages 8 – 20 weeks of age,  to establish the communication needed to set the stage for a lifetime of joy. The curriculum is designed to teach owners to understand their puppies needs, to set limits as needed to avoid potential behavior problems in adolescence and adulthood and to build positive experiences into this critical time of socialization. Come learn the window to praise and re-direct, see how to encourage behaviors that suit your home and create a climate of calm as you raise your puppy. Trainer, Cathy (Price) Pera is a 12 year veteran trainer and graduate of National Canine School for Dog Trainers. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog trainers and has titled her own dogs in conformation in both the United States and Canada. She has also titled her dogs in Obedience and has completed the work needed for their Therapy dog certifications.  Her years of service to Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan have helped secure lifelong homes for puppies and dogs. Come join us! Puppy classes are held at McAfee Animal Hospital on Tuesday 5:30-6:30pm. Classes are a 3 week series and the cost of that 3 week series is $65.00 payable in check or cash at the first class.
